What are we going to use your data for?

Your data will be used to contact you and to be able to provide you with our services. It can also be used to send you future job offers related to your professional profile.

What information will we be requesting?

We will require your personal data, which will include, but is not limited to, your name and contact details (along with your email address) and other relevant information from your Curriculum Vitae ("CV"). When we receive your data and CV by electronic means, this can be done by means of a direct request made through one of our websites, or by a request that you have submitted through a third-party employment portal.

How will we use your personal data?

We will only maintain, use and disclose your personal information for the provision of the agreed service, which includes:

  • Provision of our services to you.
  • Maintenance of our business relationship, whether you are a user of our website, a client or a candidate;
  • Allowing you to submit your CV to us to apply for specific jobs or to subscribe to our job alerts.
  • Search for suitable job offers, taking into consideration your specific details to help you find the position that best suits your profile, and send your personal information to clients to apply for jobs.
  • Maintenance of  your details to notify you of future job opportunities, regardless of the specific position to which you originally applied.
  • Fulfillment of contractual obligations with our clients;
  • Disclosure of personal information to regulatory bodies or law enforcement authorities, if required or permitted to do so;
  • We may be required to conduct a criminal background check on your data in those countries where it is required or permitted by law. We have processes in place to limit the use and disclosure of such confidential data outside of the limits permitted or required by law.
  • With whom will my data be shared?

    We may share your information with any member of Educcators and third parties necessary to verify the requirements, to enable us to provide our services. In certain circumstances, we may occasionally be required by a law enforcement or regulatory body to disclose certain personal information.

    Clients (Candidates)

    We will disclose your personal information to clients who have openings for positions of interest to you.

    We will share your personal information with third parties who are required to verify the information provided, such as:

  • Verification of employment references
  • Verification of academic qualifications
  • Criminal background check (according to local regulations)
  • Verification of data that you have provided from external sources
  • We require such parties to comply with all confidentiality and data protection requirements. In the circumstances that any of the personal data is passed on to third parties located outside the EEA, or who will access the personal information from outside the EEA, we will ensure that approved safeguards are applied, such as the approved Model Clauses or the Shield of EU / US privacy USA.

    How long will we keep your information?

    Due to our constant search for opportunities and better jobs for our candidates, we will keep your data for an indefinite period respecting the local applicable regulations; however cancellation of this service is always possible. We periodically perform data cleaning and updating exercises in relation to our candidates to ensure that (a) the data we hold is accurate and that (b) we do not keep data for longer than necessary.

    Our standard commercial conditions establish that our clients must keep the data of the candidates (such as their CVs) for the purposes of the specific position applied for and that, as data controller, they must inform the candidates whether they intend to keep their CV in their files in order to to notify you of possible future vacancies or, otherwise, to maintain or use your data for other purposes.

    Your rights over your profile information

    Right of access

    You have the right, at any time, to request from us a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. This request may be totally or partially denied when the causes regulated in the GDPR for it occur, with the interested party being informed of the decision.

    Right to correct or complete information

    If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, you have the right to have such data rectified, updated or completed.

    Right of elimination

    In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of certain personal information that we hold about you, e.g. ex. if the information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected or processed, or if our treatment of the information is based on your consent and there are no other legal bases under which we can process the information .

    Right of opposition or limitation of treatment

    In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal information, by contacting Educcators  through any of the contact methods available.

    Right to data portability

    In certain cases, you have the right to receive any personal information that we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
    You can ask us to pass this information onto you or directly to an organization considered to be a third party.
    The rights described above apply only to personal information:

  • That you have previously provided us with
  • That we submit to treatment by automated means.
  • You can exercise any of the aforementioned rights by contacting us through the methods described on our Educcators website.

    Most of the rights mentioned are subject to limitations and exceptions. In the event that we are unable to comply with any request to exercise your rights, we will provide you with a justification.


    Whilst we process your personal information on the basis of your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can do so by contacting us through the information that appears on our website.

    Notices about job offers

    In order to receive emails with job offers, you will need to provide your name and email address, which will be used for the purpose of keeping you informed, by email, of the most recent job offers.

    If you do not wish to continue receiving this information, you must send us an email informing us that you no longer wish to be contacted for this purpose.

    Curriculum vitae

    We offer you the option of sending us your CV through our website, or by applying directly to a specific vacancy that may interest you, or also by sending us  your CV for an assessment of your profile, to be able take you into account for future opportunities.
    Your CV will be registered in our database so that we can review it at all times.
    You can update your CV at any time by following the same steps you followed when you first submitted your CV.

    The legal basis for the processing of your personal information
    Under the GDPR, the main basis on which we depend to process our clients and candidates´ personal information are the following:
    (a) It is required for the conclusion or execution of a contract - in order to comply with the obligations we assume when providing you with a service, or in order to take the measures that you request to enter into a contract with us, the processing of your personal data will be necessary.
    (b) It is required for the fulfillment of a legal obligation - we are subject to certain legal requirements that may require us to process your personal data. We may also be required by law to disclose your personal data to a regulatory body or law enforcement authorities;
